Laurence Kirwan, MD, FRCS, a Board Certified
Plastic Surgeon, specializes in cosmetic plastic
surgery of the face, breast and body.

He has a plastic surgery practice in New York and
Connecticut in the US and in London, England.
He is certified by the American Board of Plastic
Surgery and the Specialist Register of Plastic
Surgery of the Republic of Ireland and Finland. He was
appointed Professor of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
at the University of Belgrade in 1996.

Prof. Kirwan is named as one of the top 20
Plastic Surgeons, worldwide in the January
2006 issue of Russian Vogue.. He was named
one of Tatler magazines "Top Surgeons" in their
February 2004 and May 2007 Cosmetic Surgery Guide.

Prof. Laurence Kirwan, FRCS

Prof. Kirwan obtained his medical degree from the Victoria University of Manchester
in 1974 . He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1979. Prof. Kirwan
completed his Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Missouri,
Kansas City, under the professorship of Dr Frederick J. McCoy, one of the
founders of plastic surgery in the United States. To prepare students for their
own practices, residents of this program were required to complete rigorous
training in cosmetic surgery techniques.

Prof. Kirwan is widely published in medical journals and is a sought-after speaker,
internationally. He has donated his surgical skills to help several
charities working with people who are victims of poverty or natural disaster.
